Agate

Color: Clear or milky white, gray, blue, green, pink, brown, often artificially colored.

Appearance: Waxy and soft, usually banded, sometimes translucent with small crystals, various sizes. Often sold as artificially colored slices that have no additional therapeutic properties.

Attributes: Formed from microscopic crystals of quartz laid down in bands, this is a very stable crystal. Agates are grounding stones, bringing about an emotional, physical and intellectual balance.
