The roots of orgonite can be found starting in the 1940's with a man named Wilhelm Reich. Reich discovered that by setting up alternating layers of organic and inorganic material, he could accumulate energy he called "orgone", which he measured using a modified geiger counter (normally used to measure radiation). He found through his research that orgone can come in one of two configurations, POR (Positive Orgone Energy) or DOR (Deadly Orgone Energy). His orgone accumulators, which during that time period mainly accumulated POR, were found to be highly effective in treating sickness and disease. Reich even found applications in what he called a "cloudbuster", which was a unit designed to accumulate the energy out of high level clouds (which he found were held together by orgone) to promote rainfall in drought ridden areas.

The FDA determined that this "orgone energy" did not exist, and eventually jailed Reich because he continued to practice his research. He died a year later in jail. Most of his records were burned along with his lab and seemingly lost forever.

But wait! There's a good ending to this story. Although Reich lost his life, it was not in vain. Around the year 2000, people started researching Reich's inventions more closely with the added tool of the internet. Some found that by using something as simple as plastic (polyester, fiberglass, epoxy, etc.) resin and metal, combined with a basic quartz crystal, would create an effective DOR-to-POR transforming unit which was aptly named Orgonite. Orgonite devices are documented to have been made as early as the 70's with the induction of the quartz crystal.

Soon, a new movement coined "gifting" started taking form. People were now making orgonite as cheap as effective as possible, and throwing it next to cell phone towers, power plants, government buildings, hospitals, and other producers of DOR and discordant energies. Gifting today is a worldwide grassroots movement based completely on a community of online psuedo-superheros who spend their time and money rebalancing the environment and saving the Earth, one cell phone tower at a time.

Uses of Orgonic Tools

Over the years, many people have found many different uses for orgonic devices. Many use them as environmental balancing and cleansing tools, keeping their homestead free from menacing vibrations and emotions. This is especially useful if you live in an area with many cell phone towers, or with a high crime rate, for examples. Also, many people who share a house or office with other people who resonate with the lower vibrations, such as anger, sadness, depression, anxiety, fear, etc. have found orgonic devices key in their work to hold the higher vibrations of love, joy, and happiness in their environment.

Energy workers and healers of all different modalities also benefit greatly from orgonic tools. They work very well to remove discordant energies at the source of a specific program, as well as keeping the healer clean from picking up on the clients' sometimes differing vibrations, especially in the case of an orgonic pendant. An orgonite cone or pyramid can be placed underneath the massage/work table to help to open the client more energetically, and thus enabling him or her to better integrate the work being done.

Orgonite has been tested and reported to increase plant growth in independent studies. Along with better yielding crops, however, there was also a increase in weeds noted in such experiments. As with any piece of orgonite, the stone combination and intention/programming put into the piece during it's construction can increase it's effectiveness in specific areas. Orgonic tools also work very well in combination with concepts such as Feng Shui, which work to deflect discordancy away from the home, and cleanse the home through working with the natural flow of energy.

Some common terms:

Orgone Energy

This term describes the energy that Reich discovered in his original experiments. Many believe that this energy is not as separate as Reich originally thought, and compare it to the ideas of chi (qi/ki), and other forms of natural energy.

Towerbuster (TB)

Muffin-sized piece of orgonite, commonly used to combat the harmful effects of cell phone towers.

Holy Hand Grenade (HHG)

Cone-shaped shaped piece of orgonite, commonly used as a personal cleanser or gifting device. The name is derived from the movie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Earthpipe (EP)

A metal pipe containing an orgonite matrix and a coil, that is built to be used to transform discordant energies underground. The device is used by hammering it into the ground above the specified area of discordancy.

Orgone Accumulator

Wilhelm Reich's original invention which did not transform energies, but merely collected them from the environment. Reich and others reported large scale healing on multiple levels during the 1940s.

Orgonic/Orgonite

The two terms are normally interchangeable, especially in these circumstances. They define a combination of plastic resin, metal, and gemstones, specifically a quartz crystal, used as an effective DOR-to-POR transmuter. The use of the term "orgonic" is because the term "orgonite" is copyrighted by a greedy bastard who has no interest in helping people or the environment, only his bank account.

Radionics

This term describes a device that is powered by "orgone energy", and driven by the mind, to complete specific tasks or intentions of the user. Common uses are protection, healing, and manifestation.
